Cabin Rental Adventures for late Spring and Summer. The Great Smoky Mountains offer much to do, one of the questions we get asked most often is, “My family is on a budget, what are some of the free or cheap things we can do in the Smokies?” My #1 recommendation is one of my family’s favorites, we like to pack a picnic lunch, then head out to spend late morning and early afternoon tubing at the Smoky Mt. River Rat
One low price for all day tubing and loads of fun! Then around 4pm head over to Cades Cove, for the auto tour. Lots to explore and its all free, from settlers homestead buildings, hiking trails to see waterfalls, to one of our favorites, hoping to see a bear and her cubs, late afternoons are a good time to see wildlife in the Cove. For a small family this is a very reasonably priced day, kind of lazy and adventurous at your own pace, and with a picnic lunch packed your family is sure to make a ton of memories.
Some of the links you may find of interest about the Cades Cove are listed below
These are just a few, we encourage you if this is your first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains, you will not want to miss this fun filled day! So with all these activities to keep you busy during the warmer weather at this Cabin Rental Adventures, then come back to the cabin and enjoy a soak in the hot tub, a game of pool and a movie night!
